Vibe Central offers the Artist who is not signed to a record deal with a large record company access to the people with the same tools to help them at every point of the journey at an affordable cost.
Tom started in the entertainment business in 1971 at the Academy of Music located on 14th street in New York City. He worked for promoter Howard Stein and up the ranks with Bow Wow Productions, Jeannie Clark at the Beacon Theater on Broadway. He later was recruited by John Scher when he opened the Capital Theater in Passaic New Jersey. During the 70’s Tom worked with every major band that played in the metropolitan areas. |
After leaving the music business in 1978, Tom formed Media Trend with David Silberstein who was formerly a VP at RCA in special products division, Media Trend was a cutting edge advertising agency. Media Trends worked with clients who spent most of their advertising money in print to transition them to late night commercial television. Tom produced video commercials with Media Trend that where recognized by advertising executives for their production quality and value. Also, he developed marketing and placement strategies to optimize exposure for his clients.
Tom was one of the owners of MOJO Productions, a full service entertainment company that did the onsite live production for the 1983 Aerosmith "Back in the Saddle" tour and production for numerous other artists and events from Raquel Welch to the first annual Village Voice Street Entertainers Fair.
